Joining the Team at Us Lighting Trends
It is with great pleasure that I share my first issue of this magazine with you as Editorial Director. For over 25 years, my career has revolved around the electrical industry first, then lighting when it became an industry in its own right. An industry that interests designers for its boldness, architects and specifiers for its possibilities, contractors for its openness to new markets and all those who want to see the world around them more clearly. The departure team is still present. Linda Longo will be covering the residential, institutional and showroom markets, and David Gordon, with whom I've been working for over 10 years, will be sharing his expertise and extensive knowledge of lighting industry issues and markets. In this first issue, find out what three experts have to say about the not-so-distant future of commercial lighting and controls and the top 3 trends that could benefit all of us in the lighting industry. Also, many case studies, news from the industries and trending products. Please join me on LinkedIn, visit us on USLightingTrends.com and do not hesitate to contact me by email to share your stories, news or comments. Good reading!
