What’s Your Onboard Fun?
Now that we are getting into summer and warmer weather, I am thinking about boating fun. Getting to the destination is always part of the fun but I am curious what you do for excitement once you are docked, anchored or beached? My hubby, Bill, thinks it is fun to clean his waterline (all enviromentally friendly product, just in case you are wondering). Me, not so much. I need to move, so I am always keen to get to shore and walk the beach or find a great trail to explore but I do always help with the waterline clean and I even do it "his way". Tubing is the silliest fun there can be (see photo) and is a good activity post waterline-scrub. Be sure to choose a quiet bay and have a spotter! Boat food is always fun. We love to eat good food and for some reason, it always tastes better when we are onboard or set-up a picnic on shore. This year, I am getting my fishing licence renewed after a 10 year sabbatical from that activity. I plan to outfish Bill - fingers crossed he will put the worm on for me.
