Canada Introducing Labour Mobility Deduction for Trades
In their budget announcement last week, the federal government included a commitment to providing skilled trades workers to claim travel expenses. Industry organizations like, the Canada Building Trades Union have been advocating this type of deduction for a number of years. The deduction applies to 2022. Tradespeople and apprentices can claim up to $4000 per year for eligible travel and temporary relocation expenses. Also in this issue, Bill Burr has another installment of his code series, we have a summary from a recent EFC and ESA webinar discussing changes to the Ontario Electrical Code. As well as an interesting article looking at how project management software can benefit electrical contractors.
