ABYC Announces Outstanding Technician Winners
Marine industry celebrates ten exceptional technicians during national recognition week. The American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) has announced the recipients of the 2025 Outstanding Technician Awards during International Marine Service Technician Week, held April 21–25. Sponsored by Yamaha, the awards recognize 10 technicians who have demonstrated exceptional customer service, technical training, and industry involvement.

Safe Boating Awareness Week is May 17 – 23
The Canadian Safe Boating Council is an alliance of members committed to preventing boating injuries and drownings. Each year Safe Boating Awareness Week provides an opportunity for the CSBC to remind boaters what it takes to stay safe. We learned from the IBEX Show website that Carl Cramer, 78, of South Portland, Maine, died at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, on April 10, 2025 with his wife Melissa Wood and dog Muttley at his side. Carl was born on July 14, 1946, in Hollywood, California, to Elizabeth (Norris) and Ambrose C. Cramer. READ MORE |
