CY & BIC Bonus Read!
April has arrived and warmer weather is creeping into the daily forecast. We all know that prepping for the main boating season in Canada is top priority now. It’s great. I can't wait. I have trailer boat trips planned and I am going to see new destinations that I have never been to by water. So exciting!
I want to challenge you with a few tough questions that I have been asking myself lately as my husband, son and I more often reach beyond our usual boating playground - be honest with yourself. Do you and the members of your boat crew know enough about the safety and navigational aspects of boating to relax and have a good time without worry? Also, does everyone have their PCOC Boating License? Do you understand the Basics of Boating and Navigation? Boating is fun and relaxing and wonderful if you are prepared. I am personally giving our friends at Canadian Power Squadron a nod as the best course provider for Recreational Boating in Canada. They have been doing this far longer than anyone else out there. If your only certification is your PCOC card, it is just the start. Knowledge is power, friends. Take a look at this link and get involved by taking courses and becoming a member. Make safety your top priority so that your time on the water can be carefree. www.cps-ecp.ca. One more thing – as you meet many new boaters who have embraced the lifestyle, feel free to pass this information along – you don’t know until you know.
Enjoy your Boating Equipment News for April, 2022.

Shurhold Industries breaks down the differences between the primary types with a Clean-N-Simple Tip. Collectively referred to as "wax," finish protectants are a sacrificial layer that's applied to a surface.
