On the Importance of Maximizing Energy Savings Through Controls
Have you heard or even better, have you watched the August blue moon, the rare full moon that won’t be seen until 2037? I am not lost in the clouds, but I wonder if we need a super moon in order to watch the sky at night. I mention this because dark sky, a non-planned effect of the LED lighting revolution, is a lighting trends that is becoming quite important. Two articles in this issue reflect on dark skies and some news on sustainability. Difficult to specify lighting projects that satisfy the new social, environmental, and economic requests without controls. Learn more about it in this issue.
