Transport Canada’s PFD/lifejackets Survey Closes November 4th
Transport Canada is examining various criteria in developing a mandatory PFD/ Lifejacket plan that would not impact other activities such as anchoring the boat and swimming. Public consultation on this matter opened on September 4 ’24 and is closing on November 4th.

16 Inductees Join Hall of Fame
The Royal Vancouver Yacht Club hosted the 2024 Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday, October 5th. Nearly 150 guests attended the event where 16 Canadians were inducted into the Hall of Fame.
