Message From The Editor
There are a couple interesting announcements in this issue, ABB is investing in their Canadian operations and Schneider has a new VP to lead their Electrification and Sustainability strategy in Canada. Last week, Electrical Industry News Week attended Nexans' Change the Current event, below you'll find our first article on the discussion, which we'll follow up next week. We also have an interesting article from Owen Hurst who looks at industrial control panels with CSA and the importance of testing and certification in developing efficient, safe, and compliant control panels for industrial control systems. EHRC’s Agents of Change event is coming up October 12th and 13th, here we have a brief preview of their speakers. Also with EHRC, they have announced their apprentice incentive program for SMEs in the electricity industry with funding from the Government of Canada’s Apprenticeship Service. And don’t miss the latest question in our code quiz with Bill Burr.
