Editor's Note
Signs of Spring
Ah yes, the leaves are in bloom, birds are eyeing each other and my allergies have returned. But more importantly, down on the docks you can definitely tell the season is upon us. 1 The travel lift is in high gear whether pros do it or DIY, boat prep checklist are mostly checked and splashing is happening. Boat Reviews
Parker Poland 800 Weekend
We are excited to bring you this review of the new Parker Poland 800 Weekend. It is a 25-foot cabin cruiser with a 9‘6“ beam which provides the boat with absolutely amazing space given its length. With a single Yamaha F300, 300 horsepower V6 outboard, the boat proved to be nimble, quiet and economical to operate. Parker Poland is very good at maximizing the features and benefits. We think you’ll be surprised at how much accommodation is available on this boat, and at a family friendly price too!

Andrew’s Book Club
My friends have refused to help me move. It’s not because they aren’t helpful or good friends. It’s because I have a lot of books. And with multiple moves over the years, pizza and beer at the end of a day hauling boxes of books just won’t cut it.

Wine and Water Do Mix: A Cruise through the Salish Sea’s Wine Islands
The departure for our Wine Island Adventure was delayed just a bit by a typical boat misadventure—Cascadia’s anchor, our Maple Leaf Adventures 138-foot catamaran, had snagged on an old railroad tie. After Cascadia re-anchored, the passengers hailing from BC, Alberta and Ontario, were whisked from VanIsle Marina (Sidney BC) to the ship. After a quick Covid test we removed our masks and were greeted with a flute of Zanatta Fantasia Brut, a delectable, sparkling introduction to our first of nearly 50 glasses of wine.
