Message From The Editor

In this issue we have the latest question in our code quiz series with Bill Burr looking at Section 54 of the Code. We also have an interesting article from Fluke on measuring resistance with a digital multimeter, which was featured in our latest digital handbook on Tools, Equipment, & Technology. You can find the link to the full issue at the bottom of the newsletter. A recent research report from 3M highlights the need to attract more young Canadians into the skilled trades, although in recent months the industry has recognized the need to meet future demand and federal and provincial governments are investing in training. The current projections from the federal government for electricians (excluding industrial and power system) looking ahead to 2028, is a total of 23,400 job openings and 20,300 workers to fill them. |
