Riese SAFE 1 / 1.1: Category 3 Safety Relay for E-stop and Safety Gates

Norstat carries a full line of safety relays that are reliable, cost effective and well suited for most any safety or automation application.

The SAFE 1 / 1.1 relay is a high quality, low cost safety relay capable of a safety rating up to a Cat. 3. It features single and dual channel switching technology for emergency stop switches or safety gate monitoring all packaged in a robust, yet compact design.  The SAFE 1 / 1.1 relays are available WITH (Safe 1) or WITHOUT (Safe 1.1) monitoring of the start button allowing for automatic start/restart.

The SAFE 1/ 1.1 comes standard with 3 NO and 1 NC contacts and has LED indication for power, channel, and operational state.  It has a fallback time of < = 100ms and a recovery time of <= 0.5s. The SAFE 1 / 1.1 operates on 24V AC/DC (electronic fuse), can function in temperatures ranging from -25° C to +55° C, and is TϋV, UL and CUL approved.
