Arlington Industries announces the resolution of its lawsuit against Defendant, Cooper Crouse-Hinds, LLC, a subsidiary of Eaton Corporation. Arlington had asserted the patent and trademark on its IN BOX® line of Recessed Electrical Boxes with Weatherproof In Use Extra Duty Covers against Eaton Crouse-Hinds’ “Extra Duty Recessed While-In-Use Covers” line of weatherproof box products, i.e., model numbers WIUR1W1, WIUR1T1, WIUR1G1, WIUR1B, which were recently discontinued. The case was dismissed by motion of the parties.

In response to this settlement, Tom Stark, President of Arlington Industries, said “While we would prefer not to litigate, Arlington will continue to defend its valuable intellectual property rights against unfair competition.”
