Brunswick Corporation, the world’s largest recreational marine manufacturer, has announced that Jill Wrobel, Brunswick Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, has been named to the 2022 list of Crain’s Chicago Business’ Notable Executives in HR and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

The Crain’s list recognizes Chicago executives who have championed, developed and implemented DEI strategies in their organization over the last year. A team of Crain’s Chicago Business editors selected the leaders based on their career accomplishments, track record of success in the field and effectiveness of their efforts.

“I am incredibly honored to be recognized among such an esteemed group of peers,” said Wrobel. “We believe the diversity of our employees, and the different experiences and perspectives they bring, inspire the greatest innovation and are necessary to shape the future of our company and of recreational boating. While this important work is never complete, we have made incredible progress, and we remain committed to promoting learning and building awareness at every level of the organization.”

Wrobel earned the Crain’s distinction for her focus on ensuring DEI is embedded in Brunswick’s company culture, from the C-Suite to the production floor. She has worked to ensure that leaders increase understanding around accountability for diversity and inclusion, investing in DEI training programs for all global employees and hiring for key roles that support DEI talent sourcing and program management.
