Lifting cleats deliver simplicity, convenience

Accon Lifting Cleats

July 11, 2022

Boat decks bristling with hardware can appear cluttered and confusing to both experienced boat owners and first-time buyers alike. Combination mooring and lifting cleats from Accon Marine reduce the number of devices on deck, help streamline vessel appearance and simplify everyday operation.

Accon Marine 209 Series Lifting Cleats deliver exceptional strength and durability in a compact, fully-retractable design that’s easy to install. The cleat portion features marine-grade 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance; lifting hardware is 304 stainless-steel. Available in 4-1/2″, 6″, 8″ and 10″ sizes to suit a wide range of boats, they pull up for use and recess to be flush with the deck when not needed. All are screw-mount configurations, with the 8″ and 10″ models also available in stud-mount.

When used in conjunction with the supplied 304 stainless steel bow eye, connecting rod, sling and crossbar, Accon Marine 209 Series cleats double as lifting hardware with a working load capacity to 4,000 lbs. A 12″ rod comes standard, with custom lengths available. An optional 209-PA pivot attachment facilitates tricky installations by allowing for alignment variations of up to 10 degrees from vertical.
