Atlantes Freedom toilet provides residential comfort

Atlantes Freedom Toilet

Aug 22, 2022

Many boat toilets have dimensions similar to a five-gallon bucket—and are nearly as uncomfortable. The Atlantes Freedom™ from Raritan Engineering offers residential-style comfort in both full household and elongated bowls, and the option for the familiarity of a traditional stainless steel flush handle. Plus, it’s available in white or bone to complement any classic or contemporary interior marine décor.

Made in the USA, the Atlantes Freedom is the original one-piece porcelain china marine toilet. Easy to clean and maintain, it stands a full, comfortable 17″ H. The household bowl measures 19-1/4″ L x 14-3/8″ W; the elongated version is 21-1/2″ L x 14-1/8″ W.

Featuring Raritan’s VORTEX-VAC™ discharge system, the Atlantes Freedom creates an internal vacuum that doesn’t require remote pumps. Yet with all this power, toilet operation is whisper-quiet.

Inside the Atlantes Freedom, the robust macerator has stainless steel blades that shred waste into small particles for efficient and reliable flushing. Unlike many marine toilets, the discharge loop enables the boat to hold water similar to a residential device, but only requires two pints to flush.

Raritan offers the Atlantes Freedom with a wide range of flush controls. Ideal for guests, handled models are available in momentary or timed versions. A multifunction wall control offers fill, empty and flush modes, while the Smart Programmable Control has a normal flush and a water-saver mode.

With the SeaFresh option, the Atlantes Freedom allows the owner to flush with raw water to conserve valuable onboard supplies. A simple switch reverts the system back to fresh water flush to rinse-out the toilet lines to reduce odors.

The Raritan Atlantes Freedom is offered in 12V, 24V and 120/240VAC. www.raritaneng.com.
