On Wednesday October 5th, 2022, Brad Thomson, General Manager of MacDonald Turkey Point Marina, presented a cheque for $22,175 to Jennifer Baxter of the London Children’s Health Foundation. Also on hand for the cheque presentation were Haldimand- Norfolk MPP Bobbi Ann Brady, Julie and Kayla Thomson.

Our 2022 Fundraising season came to a close in September following our 22nd annual Bass Tournament. This year’s fundraising events consisted of a silent auction, concerts in the park and the Bass Tournament, contributing to this amazing $22,175 donation. These events and the Turkey Point Santa Claus Parade brings our 22-year fundraising total to $195,675. WOW!!

The London Children’s Hospital cares for more than 1,100 children from Norfolk and Oxford Counties each year. Brad Thomson, the Thomson family and everyone at MacDonald Turkey Point Marina are very grateful for the continued support of all our sponsors, competitors, volunteers and supporters over the past 22 years. This year’s success is due to our 2022 sponsors featured in the announcement letter’s border.

A child’s health is the greatest gift. We are looking forward to the 23rd annual London Children’s Health Foundation Charity Bass Tournament on Sunday, September 10, 2023. This is truly fishing for a cause. Come join us and experience the thrill and excitement of tournament fishing.

On behalf of the Thomson Family and MacDonald Turkey Point Marina…………… THANK YOU! Yours truly,

Brad Thomson
