Cruising Ontario Presentation

Dec 7, 2023

On Sunday December 17th, join Grand River Squadron for a scrumptious dinner presentation

“Cruising Ontario’s Historic Canals; the Trent Severn & Rideau Canals”

Is a cruise on the Trent Severn and/or Rideau Canals on your bucket list?  Take in the many Trent Severn adventures including the Big Chute Marine Railway, Kirkfield and Peterborough Lift Locks.  Travel back in time along the UNESCO World Heritage Rideau Canal.  Sample the beautiful settings both of these canals traverse.

In 2021, Jeff Evans and the crew of Boldly Go travelled from Goderich on Lake Huron to Georgian Bay, Trent Severn, Bay of Quinte and Rideau Canal ending up in Ottawa.  Over seven weeks the crew experienced the best Ontario has to offer on our historic canal systems.

Energize your bucket list and join Jeff as he shares the ins and outs of cruising the Trent and Rideau.  As an extra bonus, those attending will get a sneak preview of the “Cruising Ontario’s West Coast: Lake Huron Boating Destinations” seminar that will premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Boat Show.

When: December 17, 2023, social hour: 4 pm, dinner 5 pm

Where: Golf’s Steak House 598 Lancaster Street West, Kitchener, Ontario
