Dan Bresnitz will be the keynote speaker at CPCA’s Annual Conference in Quebec City on May 25 and 26. The event will be held at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac Hotel.
Bresnitz is a professor at the University of Toronto, and co-director of the Innovation Policy Lab, and the Munk Chair of Innovation at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. He has just been appointed the Clifford Clark Visiting Economist at the federal Department of Finance.
He has published several books on innovation and prosperity with the most recent entitled Innovation in Real Places. He has, says CPCA, "a unique and realistic perspective on what Canada must do to leverage its many investments in innovation in order to be among the top countries on innovation in the world."
