Rittal North America has recently introduced the Wall Mount Vented (WMV) outdoor UL 3R Type Rated enclosure. This new enclosure accommodates easy in-field maintenance and features core advantages, including a durable design, integrated cooling, easy access for routine maintenance, optimum corrosion protection, and included fans and filters. Outdoor environments can have severe effects on the electrical controls inside of enclosures. Sensitive electronics are extremely susceptible to overheating, moisture, dust, and debris, and without the proper protection and access for maintenance their operating life can be shortened.

Phoenix Contact: Thermal Protection for High Nominal Currents

The TCP thermal device circuit breakers from Phoenix Contact are being extended to devices with higher nominal currents with the TCP 10 variant. With this expansion, it is now possible to provide thermal overload protection of up to 20 A for larger loads. In combination with the PT 10-FSI/C terminal block portfolio, applications up to 250 V AC and 65 V DC can be equipped with simple basic protection.
