People who need people…
Barbara Streisand sang that, “People who need people are the luckiest people in the world”. Barbara was not in the marine industry. We need people and we are not feeling very “lucky” about it. To my amazement, Barbara Streisand is still in the news and that song, People was a hit in the mid-1960s. So much has changed since then.
We are people who need people. We need marine technicians, boat builders, sales and marketing people, marina managers and more. Last week I joined a Transport Canada webinar on labour shortages in the greater marine industry.
