BC Hydro Receives Strong Response to Call for Clean Electricity

This is BC Hydro’s first competitive call for power in more than 15 years and will add 5% to its current supply. The Ontario government along with Hydro One announced the completion of refurbishments at the Beck #2 Transformer Station in Niagara Falls. Sachigo Lake First Nation is located on the north shore of Sachigo Lake and is accessible only by air or ice road during the winter. The Wataynikaneyap Power transmission system connects the Sachigo Lake community distribution system to the Ontario grid through a total of 760 km of transmission line and six substations, originating from its Dinorwic Substation just east of Dryden, Ontario.
