Highlights from Fredericton’s Knotty Night
Every January, CanBoat / Fredericton hosts a free event called Knotty Night at Dolan’s Pub. On January 23rd, over a dozen Fredericton area boaters arrived for a pre-event dinner gathering and 24 boaters participated in the knot tying event. During the annual event Fredericton instructors demonstrate how to tie various knots, hitches, and splices.

Tillsonburg and London’s Excellent Adventure to the Toronto Boat Show!
On Saturday January 25th CanBoat / Tillsonburg and London members boarded a bus bound for the Toronto International Boat Show to enjoy a day of touring new boats, watching events at the indoor lake, shopping and fellowship. This annual event is organized by Tillsonburg, and the invitation is extended to London members and typically costs $70 per person for the bus charter and show admission.

2025 Melges 24 and Viper 640 Canadian Championships
The Canadian Melges 24 Class, and International Viper 640 Class are both pleased to announce that their 2025 Canadian Championships will be jointly held at the South Port Sailing Club, (Tecumseh Ontario, just outside of Windsor), on the weekend of Sept 5-7. The event will see these two high performance boat classes being raced on the south-west end of Lake St. Clair.
