200-MW Bekevar Wind Facility Now Online
Construction of the new Bekevar Wind Energy Facility north of Moose Mountain Provincial Park is complete. Owned and operated by Bekevar Wind LP, a limited partnership between Innagreen Investments and Awasis Nehiyawewini Energy Development Limited Partnership (a wholly-owned Cowesses First Nation entity), the wind facility will provide up to 200 megawatts (MW) of emissions-free power to the grid. Darlington Nuclear’s Unit 1 Successfully Refurbished Months Ahead of Schedule
Unit 1, the third of four units to be refurbished at the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station, successfully completed its overhaul five months ahead of schedule and will soon be returned to the grid. The 875-megawatt (MW) unit was taken offline for refurbishment in February 2022. CES Single Phase Pole Top Transformer
The transformers come equipped with several standard accessories and features. An engraved aluminum nameplate is included for easy identification. For safety, a pressure relief device is installed. The units are fitted with both high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) bushings. Provision for mounting surge arresters is included as a standard feature.
